Our strain is a very attractive red color that has less russetting and ripens earlier than the original Haralson. The fruit is crisp and juicy and the flesh white and firm. It has a mild, pleasant flavor. It is good for all uses. It will stores well into the winter. It is extremely hardy and good for areas that have really cold winters. It harvests late September, early October in the north.
