Concorde® is an excellent new fresh variety from England. It has very attractive, long yellow fruit. The fruit is medium sized with excellent crisp, white flesh. It has excellent flavor and keeps well. It ripens late in the season after Comice and Bosc.

Homeowner Growing and Maintenance TipsConcorde® blooms with Comice pear and can be pollinated by Comice, Bartlett and other pears. It is more spreading than most pears, with good crotch angles. Russet is not a problem, but sometimes will appear in certain years.

A Little HistoryConcorde® was introduced into the US from the East Malling, England Research Station where it was bred. One of its parents is Conference, which is one of the most popular pears in Europe.
