Goodland is one of the most hardy apples known. It has been known to withstand -50F with little winter damage. The fruit is medium size, round, bi-color fruit. Its flesh is tender, crisp, juicy and aromatic. It makes a delicious aromatic apple sauce and is well suited for fresh eating. It ripens in early September.

A Little History

Goodland is an open pollinated seedling of Patten Greening that was selected in 1925, but not introduced until 1955 from the Canadian Research Station in Morden, Manitoba, just north of the border.
