Grandpa's Orchard™ UPS shipping calculator is not foolproof.

Shipping and UPS Charges Policy: When you order from the Grandpa's Orchard™ website, UPS charges are estimated and added to your order when you checkout. In 90% of orders, these shipping and handling charges are sufficient to ship your order to you without a problem.

In some cases, though, these charges are not sufficient to cover actual shipping charges to your particular destination based on the zip code method that we use to estimate UPS charges. In some cases, we have found that UPS charges a much higher "destination" charge based on your exact address where they have to deliver to. Often this may be because you live "off the beaten path" or in some place where UPS has to travel extra distance to deliver to you. In these cases, we have sometimes been surprised when actual UPS charges are calculated.

If this is the case with your particular order, and we feel that the difference between the website calculated charge and the actual charge that UPS will be charging us is too great to "swallow", then we may contact you to advise you of the difference, and ask how we should proceed with your order. This is a rare occurrence and you will be offered different options in order to make sure that our transaction is satisfactory to you, our valued customer, and Grandpa's Orchard™.
